Privacy Policy

Effective August 9, 2026

48rich (“we,” “us”) operates a public, pay-to-rank ledger at 48rich.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

When you claim a rank, we collect the name and optional note (up to 100 characters) you choose to submit — both are displayed publicly on the Ledger. We also collect your email address, which is never displayed publicly; it exists solely to identify you across multiple payments so your cumulative total can be tracked correctly.

For technical accuracy: your email is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash in the public-facing ledger record, and only kept in plain form in a private, non-public payment record used for sending you a receipt and for support or audit purposes. We also record the amount, currency, and timestamp of each payment.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. 48rich never receives, stores, or has access to your full card number or other card details — that information goes directly to Stripe. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

How We Use Your Information

To operate the public Ledger (displaying your name, note, cumulative total, and rank), to email you a receipt confirming your payment and current standing, and to respond to support inquiries.

What's Public

Your name, note, cumulative total, and rank are publicly visible to anyone who visits the site. Your email address is never publicly displayed.

Other Services We Use

Firebase / Google Cloud (data storage), and a Microsoft 365 mailbox (info@48rich.com) for sending receipt emails.

Data Retention and Your Choices

Ledger entries persist as long as the service operates. If you’d like your name or note removed from public display, contact us at info@48rich.com and we will accommodate reasonable requests — we may need to retain underlying payment records for financial recordkeeping regardless.

Cookies

48rich does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe’s checkout flow may set cookies as part of its own secure payment process, governed by Stripe’s policies.

Age

This service is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; changes will be posted on this page.
